My Life in Orange

In Berlin in 1980, Lili and her little brother Fabian live with their mother Amrita in a large communal apartment, a den of cheerful orange-clad hippies steeped in Indian spirituality. When Amrita's partner inherits a farm deep in Bavaria, the whole gang sets off for Germany's most conservative province. Their goal: to open a therapy center in the heart of nature. While the adults meditate half-naked in the fields in front of stunned villagers, Lili and Fabian face school and its outdated methods: homework and prayer in class! How will Lili reconcile these two opposing lifestyles? Will she choose the orange tunic or the pigtails of the model Bavarian girl?...
