A Friend of Mine

Karl and Hans couldn't be more different: Karl is a young mathematician who works successfully in an insurance company, while Hans, a hedonist, gets by with temporary jobs. “Are you happy?” Hans asks when they first meet. But Karl doesn't know the answer until Hans shows him what makes him happy: ice cream, girls, coffee, airplanes, the world's most rickety but fastest ‘backward driving car,’ and flying naked at night in a Porsche over the highway. And for Hans, friendship means sharing everything, including his ‘queen,’ Stelle. It's all too much for Karl. But you can't get rid of a friend like Hans, and you don't forget a woman like Stelle.
