Cubs

The lazy baby (3 fingers) is comfortably leaning against the hamac, made of the mother's green fur and wrinkled belly, on top of the big embaúba (cecropia, hollow tree) where it feeds. In a slow gesture, the mother brings a giant leaf to its mouth as a meal. The baby steals the appetizing leaf, with the same slow and sure gesture, and swallows it conscientiously, pushing it into its mouth without lips. Then it groans widely as it pushes out its long, pink, firm tongue, and closes its eyes in a dreamless sleep, displaying its eternal smile.
